How to get rid of snoring

Snoring is an unpleasant phenomenon that can disrupt sleep, cause sore throat, but also drive out all other non-snoring

Snoring is caused by constricted airways during sleep. When we sleep, all muscles, including those in the throat and neck, relax. The problem is when the muscles relax too much and start to “fly” around, blocking the airways. These muscles include the tonsils, palate and tongue.

The best way to deal with this is to use natural methods to stop snoring. They are easily achieved with some simple lifestyle changes, diet and regular exercise. It is important to take care of this problem in a timely manner as blockage of the airways can lead to life-threatening problems. People snore most when sleeping on their backs because the breath of air collides with the tissue in their throats and produces a vibration known as snoring. The following tips will definitely help you:

Close your mouth

If you sleep with your mouth open, the incoming air from the mouth and nose strikes the soft tissue at the back of your throat and creates a vibration, producing a characteristic snore sound. About 45% of adults sometimes snore, and 25% regularly snore – the most common cause of this is mouth breathing, writes the British Guardian.

About 10% of children also snore, often due to increased adenoids that decrease by the age of seven. But while in most cases children outgrow snoring, adults tend to get worse.

Avoid alcohol

If you are in the habit of drinking a glass of wine at dinner, you have already increased your chances of snoring. Drinking alcohol relaxes your muscles of the tongue and throat, resulting in a partial blockage of the movement of the air as you breathe, which leads to snoring. If you snore already, it will make the situation worse, and if you do not snore normally, the drink can contribute to this action.

Lose weight

People who are overweight generally snore more than those who are normal weight. Of course, you don’t necessarily have to be too heavy to be a “snore”, but if you snore and are still obese, put down some pounds with exercise and a healthy diet so you can see the difference.

Fatty deposits around the neck tighten the airways. They occur more often in men than in women, so this is one of the reasons why men on average snore more than women. In women, one of the causes of snoring is the short and thicker neck. With this problem, the only solution is weight loss.

If you are otherwise not active in daily life, you stand a very good chance of being a “snore”, so get out of your home and walk at least an hour a day.

Stop smoking

There’s a good chance if you’re a smoker, you probably snore too. Of course, this is due to the effects that cigarette smoke has on the nasal passages and sinuses. If you quit smoking, your snoring problems (among other things) will be solved by itself. And if you don’t smoke, you definitely want to avoid exposure to secondhand smoke, as it also has a detrimental effect on snoring.

Check the bite

Retraction of the jaw can contribute to snoring because during sleep, the tongue is likely to lower down the throat and obstruct the airways. It’s the easiest thing to check for a bite, and if your upper and lower jaws are not aligned, you have an irregular bite. In this case, the easiest way is to get some of the snoring supplements in our market.

Sleeping on the side

Most snorers are people sleeping on their backs, so it’s a good idea to try falling asleep on your side. Today there are also pillows specifically designed for people who want to sleep on their side.

Make sure you don’t have obstructive apnea

Obstructive apnea is a disease that causes the airways to close and a person stops breathing for about ten seconds. With the drop of oxygen in the blood, the brain restarts the breathing process, often with jerks and snoring.

Pressure mask for breathing

This mask continuously maintains positive airway pressure and prevents them from tightening. The pump, while running, produces a slight noise, such as a laptop, transmitting 24 hours.
